Edgard A Olaizola, Managing Director, Eli Lilly and Company India & Sri Lanka joined Lilly India in September 2013.
Edgard joined Lilly 13 years ago and over the years has held diverse positions in marketing and sales at US, South America, and Canada. In his last assignment, as Lilly Taiwan’s MD, he played a crucial role in making Lilly Taiwan as one of the best performing countries in the Asia region. Prior to moving to Taiwan, Edgard was based in US, handling a broader role of leading the Sales Force Capabilities and Six Sigma team as Senior Director for the Emerging Market Business Unit.
Now based in Gurgaon, he considers his mission to establish Lilly India as a high performance organization, a market leader in diabetes segment and an employer of choice. His vision is to bring the best of Lilly to the Indian patient and leverage the Indian potential for Lilly.
Edgard holds a degree in Economics from Universidad Catolica Andres Bello and has completed his Post Graduation in Business Management from Washington University in St. Louis.

Anant Garg is the Director Human Resource at Eli Lilly & Company India. He is responsible for developing and executing Lilly India’s people strategy that aligns with the overall organizational vision, core values and business objectives.
He joined Lilly in 2011 as Associate Director HR and since then has managed different assignments and roles in HR Business Partnership, Global Compensation and Six Sigma. Most recently he was the Director Corporate Affairs, Pricing, Reimbursement and Access at Lilly India and was responsible for managing market access, product pricing, public health initiatives, corporate affairs and communications..
Prior to Lilly, Anant worked with Mercer leading HR consulting assignments across different industries, and with Accenture playing a key role in the company’s expansion in India.
Anant is a Bachelor’s in Electronics Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Allahabad and an MBA in HR from XLRI Jamshedpur.

Deepak has a strong leadership experience of over 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Deepak also has experience of International Marketing across Europe & USA in his various assignments with Novartis & AstraZeneca. Before moving back to Lilly in India, Deepak was in AstraZeneca, Cambridge UK as Global Brand Director for Life Cycle Maximization.

Dibakar Bhattacharya is the Director Corporate Affairs, Pricing, Reimbursement and Access at Eli Lilly and Company. He is responsible for managing Corporate Affairs, Market Access, Product Pricing, Public Health Initiatives, and Communications.
He joined Eli Lilly in 2012 as Head, Key Accounts Management and since then has managed different assignments and roles as the Lead, Bangladesh Access Expansion, New Market Development, and India Access Expansion Project. Prior to his current role, he was Associate Director, Alliances and Business Development.

With over 15 years of managing cross-functional & cross-cultural teams, organizational complexities & business uncertainties, he has been integral in the success of many marquee initiatives at Lilly.

In his last assignment, as Brand Leader - Alliance Brands & Men’s Health for Asia Operations, he played a crucial role in managing alliance, and guiding affiliate teams on developing & implementing customer plans. He also brings in rich experience from his Business support role at MSD Pharmaceuticals, and Strategy & Business Development responsibility at Philips India.
In his current role, his focus is to ensure that we achieve & maintain access to our medicines for people across the country.

Simrat was Medical Advisor- Cardiac Care and Bone Health before taking over the role of “Ethics and Compliance Officer” for Lilly India February 1, 2013. She has been with Lilly for more than 5 years and has managed various portfolios successfully, including Cardiac Care, Bone health and GPS (Pharmacovigilance). She was instrumental in setting up the Global Patient Safety function in the affiliate and also played a key role in the launch of Effient.

Tarun started his career with Lilly in 2008, as Oncology Medical Advisor for Lilly India. Prior to this, he was practicing Oncology at AIIMS, New Delhi. He was promoted to Senior Medical Advisor in 2012. In 2013, he moved to Emerging Markets Business Unit as regional Oncology physician. In 2015, Tarun moved to Lilly India as affiliate medical director.
Tarun holds a Masters in Oncology and a European certification in Medical Oncology.
